Civil Construction Excavator operations (LE) Course Information

Get trained, assessed, and nationally recognised to safely operate machinery across the civil, mining, agriculture, and construction sectors. This course is for new operators, experienced operators requiring formal qualifications, or employers upskilling their teams.

What you’ll learn:

• Machine controls, gauges, and safety systems
• Pre-start and operational safety checks
• Techniques for trenching, bulk excavation, leveling, and backfilling
• Safe operation on varied terrains and gradients
• Hazard identification and risk control
• Parking, shutting down, and securing equipment
• WHS Compliance

Entry Requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• Have basic English literacy and numeracy skills

What to Bring:

• 100 points of ID
• Enclosed shoes and suitable workwear
• Your own lunch, water, and snacks
