Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler Operations

This course is for individuals who will be operating a telescopic materials handler (telehandler) in a range of work environments. The course provides the skills and knowledge required to operate a telehandler safely and effectively. Training can be tailored based on your prior experience and the types of attachments you will be using.

What you’ll learn:

• Planning and preparing for telehandler operations
• Conducting pre-start inspections and basic maintenance
• Understanding safe lifting limits
• Safe operating techniques
• Hazard identification and risk control
• Shutting down and securing the telehandler after use

Entry Requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• Have basic English literacy and numeracy skills

What to Bring:

• 100 points of ID
• Enclosed shoes and suitable workwear.
• Your own lunch, water, and snacks.
